Dear Community,

I believe the upcoming year will mark a turning point for CPChain.

2018 has been a tough year — a very challenging operating environment and a period of significant change and investment. The biggest names in cryptocurrency suffered steep price fluctuations, and the overall crypto economy was filled with disruptions and risk.

The past year is a reminder, to all of us, of the importance of valid fundamentals and novelty technologies. We have operated with that knowledge from the very start, and we have been developing and improving our technology continuously over the past 10 months with some noticeable developments: CPChain white paper published, PDash open sourced, test net launch, and partnerships with physical entities, blockchain projects, and peers in the IoT space. Even though the market has seen better times, we are healthy financially and operationally.

We will continue to work to realize our vision to deliver innovative solutions, and in doing so, enhance trust.

Our mission is paving the way for interaction and transaction between things and individuals in the future. Meanwhile, constructing a shared ecosystem where data flows freely. Ultimately shaping the world as a distributed smart ecosystem.

By stating our goals, I want to convey my deep appreciation to CPChain Foundation’s 40 team members. They include our obsessive bug-fixing engineer team, our talkative and outgoing operations team, our presentation focused business development team and our detail-oriented administration team. They are the keys to our success.

We are a young and enthusiastic team. The CPChain Foundation is way more than engineers, designers, developers, managers, and researchers. Throughout the days we worked and fought and argued together, we have turned the relationship even more than fellowship… I could never ask for a better team.

The CPChain team shares an absolute determination to create a trusted platform and to earn the respect of the communities in which we operate.

LOOKING AHEAD

In the coming year, CPChain will make the goals in our white paper and roadmap a reality. I hope you are looking forward to the upcoming developments because we are excited to share them with you.

1. Release the formal version of the CPChain mainnet;

2. Forming the functional ecosystem, characterized by multiple DApps on CPChain;

3. POCs we have worked on this year will go live, partnerships with physical entities, especially in the fields of smart city development, smart health care solutions and intelligent transportation;

The realization of these goals relies on CPChain’s distributed IoT platform, which has the following features:

1. Distributed consensus algorithm based on a dynamic committee;

2. A sustainable ecosystem in the field of Internet of Things; and

3. Identity protection and private transaction based on cryptology.
