The project for integrating Blockchain and SIM card

Beijing Huahong IC Design Co. Ltd is a well-known supplier of integrated circuits in China, providing chips for famous communication companies such as China Unicom and China Mobile. In a business meeting, Huahong expressed a strong interest in blockchain technology, hoping to explore the practical application of blockchain technology in the field of SIM cards. We are very grateful to Huahong for giving us the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful project.

On this basis, CPChain and Beijing Huahong IC Design Co. Ltd began a months-long cooperative research and development process. In this process, we encountered epidemics and difficulties in working in different places. But both parties have great confidence and expectations for this project, and have never thought of backing down. Finally, this month the project ushered in a phased victory. The first batch of BSIM Cards has entered the trial operation phase at the National Internet of Things Experimental Base in Hebei Province.

This project combines SIM cards and blockchain technology to build a set of test systems for trusted and intelligent IoT applications. The project system uses the SIM card as the security component of the root of trust of the blockchain to provide security management solutions for on-chain registration and data on-chain for IoT devices. This project is currently taking the smart factory as the scene to realize the registration of smart meters and smart camera devices, and the chaining of their data. It also provides a blockchain proxy service that greatly reduces technical complexity, and provides a blockchain management platform for monitoring block data, transaction data, and chain data. At the same time, a large data screen is provided in the background to realize data visualization.

Throughout the project, Beijing Huahong IC Design Co. Ltd provides a full range of hardware support. The CPChain team is responsible for all software design and research and development, and the two parties cooperate with each other in tacit understanding. And reached a consensus on the second phase of the project, Beijing Huahong IC Design Co. Ltd will use the resources behind it to team up with CPChain to create an integrated solution for data on-chain in the field of Internet of Things in the future, which will be applied to scenarios such as Internet of Things data auditing, monitoring, and collaboration. And the solution will be combined with the public chain PDash to create a real data market, break data islands, and realize data transactions involving multiple parties.

Currently, Beijing Huahong IC Design Co. Ltd has established a marketing team for this project to conduct comprehensive market research on BSIM to prepare for its entry into the market. This is an important step in the commercialization of CPChain technology. This also proves the significance of our continuous experimental cooperation with companies in various fields. We are also looking forward to the start of the second phase of the project.
